Welcome Kanyon Lloyd Campbell (Sept 6, 2011)

Dave and I are so very excited for our newest grandson! Kanyon was determined not to flip, so he was born today by c-section at 11:56 am. He was 6 lbs 13 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. Kiersten did great and Keenan was a good sport by supporting Kiersten and not eating until she was able to eat! It is so much fun to see him and hold him after all these months of feeling him through Kiersten's belly. It's a good thing I get to hold him now, because that will make up for missing feeling him kick inside Kiersten (she was a very good sport and would let me poke her belly every time I saw her)!

Kiersten & Keenan's wedding (August 27, 2011)

We finally made it to the wedding! Great news, the baby did not come early! One of my most favorite memories of this wedding will be when Kiersten and Dave practiced their dance. It was so sweet and fun to watch them practice their dance together. I know it is hard for Dave to have his only daughter married, it was very emotional for him.

It was a great wedding! I got goose bumps as Kiersten & Dave walked down the aisle. It made me get teary eyed. We absolutely love Keenan and are happy to have him in our family!

We love you both and wish you all the happiness in the world as you start your new family.

First Day of School (Aug 22, 2011)

It's that time of year again! Except this time around, I have one in Junior High. I have been needlessly stressing over Jr High for years now. Much to my relief, it is nothing like I had feared it would be! Will absolutely loves Jr High! For the first week, he was waking up at 5:30 am because he was so excited for school!

Will had to beg me to let him get these neon shoes. I thought for sure kids would make fun of him for them, but nope, nobody cares. Will started the clarinet this year. He really wants to play the saxophone, but the teacher is requiring one year of clarinet first. He seems to enjoy it and is picking it up fairly fast. So far we have all straight A's. Good job Will!

Tyler is in 5th grade this year! This is his first year alone in elementary without Will. Tyler has his cousin Toby in his class again this year. That always makes me happy that Tyler has a good friend in his class with him. We are hoping for a good year!
